Courtland Consulting Unveils Redesigned Website

Courtland Consulting is pleased to announce that our company website, located at www.CourtlandConsulting.com has a whole new look, with enhanced graphics, an improved user interface for mobile compatibility, and an Insights resource library of technology business topics and client case studies. The Courtland website is now a company-wide collaboration to help keep it current and updated routinely.

President Steve Trudell states, “We are very excited for the new look of the Courtland website. The new site clearly defines our vision and the services that we deliver to our customers and business partners. I am thrilled about the Insights section of the website. This new area allows Courtland staff to share their business knowledge and expertise, and to demonstrate in more detail how our clients and future clients benefit from our services.”

The theme of this conference was "Moving Child Support to the Next Level...Putting Policy into Action".  We joined child support professionals from around the world to guage the climate of the child support community and generate recommendations and strategies to impact policy at all levels.

Courtland Volunteer Event with the Greater Lansing Food Bank

FoodBankLogo-CourtlandConsultingCourtland will be taking time out this holiday season to give back to the Lansing Community. On December 5th, 2012, the Courtland Team will be helping with the sorting of food at the Greater Lansing Area Food Bank Warehouse in Lansing, MI from 10am - 12 noon. The Food Bank's mission is feeding those who are hungry in 7 counties and providing support to local agencies such as shelters, food pantries, soup kitchens, neighborhood distribution sites and holiday baskets. For those that will join us, please dress in layers as the warehouse can be cold, but once you get moving, you might get a little warm!

Strudell Presents Volunteer Engagement and Fundraising Strategies to Nonprofits

HandsOn Tech Detroit, a part of HandsOn Network & Highway T, seeks to provide technology assistance in low income areas throughout greater Metro Detroit.

Courtland Staff Contribute to Christmas for Kids

Courtland Employees have again helped to make some local children's holidays a little brighter. Through our partnership with the Michigan Child Support Project who adopts families in the Greater Lansing area each year. This year the Project adopted two families both of which lost a parent this year and are struggling. Courtland staff were able to collect $295.00 so the children in these families will have a brighter 2012 Christmas.

This year marks MFSC's 30th anniversary as a nonprofit organization that provides networking and training opportunities to child support professionals. Courtland Presents at 2012 Michigan Judicial Conference

Courtland Consulting was asked to present to Michigan Judges, who were attending their annual 2012 Michigan Judicial Conference. Specifically, Courtland shared the research findings and recommendations from a previously published report written under contract with the Michigan State Court Administrative Office. The report looked at the effectiveness of mediation and case evaluation as a means of alternative dispute resolution in civil cases in Michigan Circuit Courts. It was an honor to share information that will help to improve the courts in terms in docket management decisions and meeting performance measures.
