History
Founded in 1990 by Steven Trudell, Courtland Consulting is a leader in the areas of implementation including system design, development, project implementation and customer support, training and web and graphic design. Our employees are among the most qualified in today's IT market with consulting professionals who have experience in both the government and private sectors.
For the past sixteen years, Courtland has assisted the State of Michigan in managing compliance activities for the federally mandated Michigan Child Support Enforcement System (MiCSES). In this capacity, our technical and analytical expertise has been called upon to assist in every area of the project lifecycle including help desk analysis, business analysis, configuration management analysis, application testing, customer support, data warehousing, desktop support, program development, educational and instructional design, graphic design, and web development.
As part of the MiCSES training protocol, Courtland was instrumental in designing the project’s first interactive application resource website and web-based training modules. For this effort, Courtland staff designed, implemented and maintained thousands of pages of interactive content used by child support professionals statewide. Subsequent web based presentations developed by Courtland employees for the Federal Certification Reviews of MiCSES have since been adopted by the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement as the de facto communication standard for states seeking Federal certification.
Over the years, as our business has grown, Courtland has expanded our client base to include projects in the educational sector, the courts, and numerous private sector businesses. Our consultants continue to provide leadership and quality work, keeping abreast of the latest technology in order to provide the expertise our clients expect.
